Our wallplates worked perfectly for our outlets. We were originally given wooden plates that didn't work out (one broke in the middle), so we went with the brushed nickel oversized metal wallplates, which worked perfectly. The brushed nickel matches the rest of our outlets--better than the wooden ones!
