This wall plate is definitely not I would call Bronze. It's much more like a champagne gold. Also, it is definitely not oversized. I had to have someone come in and repair the wall around it because it was not large enough. It's a nice wallplate - just not what I was looking for.

Not gold or brassy. Subtle rich color on the wall. Did all outlets/switch wall plates in foyer and hall way. Looks great, ties into artwork frames.
